Iowa Trust and Savings Donates $3,500 to Chariton Valley Regional Housing Trust Fund 4.1.25
Renate Deininger, the President and CEO of Iowa Trust and Savings Bank, recently presented a $3,500 check to the Board Members of the Chariton Valley Regional Housing Trust Fund alongside Rachel Mathews, the Executive Director. Noteworthy is Mike Armstrong, the Vice President of Lending at Iowa Trust and Savings, also serving as a board member of the Chariton Valley Regional Housing Trust Fund since its establishment in 2010. As the organization enters its 15th year, it continues to positively impact homeowners within the four-county region of Appanoose, Lucas, Monroe, and Wayne Counties. Through the generous contributions of benefactors like Iowa Trust and Savings Bank, significant financial aid has been extended to homeowners in these counties, facilitated by various businesses, organizations, municipalities, and individual donors. The overarching goal of the Chariton Valley Regional Housing Trust Fund is to support low- and moderate-income homeowners in the enhancement, revitalization, and renovation of their residences. Notably, the organization has a distinctive collaboration with Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, aimed at constructing affordable new homes for sale to individuals within this income bracket.
